This healthy refreshing ginger tea is made with fresh ginger, orange and grated nutmeg. You can make the tea with just the ginger on its own but I think the nutmeg gives it a little extra!

Ingredients: (makes 2 cups)
2 cups water
½ inch (2cm) piece of ginger root
½ tsp grated nutmeg
2 tbsp fresh orange juice
Agave nectar or honey (optional)

Directions:
Grate or thinly slice the ginger and put in a saucepan with the water. Add the nutmeg and bring to the boil, turn off the heat, add the orange juice and let steep (sit) for 5-10 minutes. Pour through a strainer and enjoy!
If you like your tea a bit sweeter, add the agave or honey.
